International Women’s Day


On March 8, 2017, Uganda will join the rest of the world to commemorate International Women’s Day under the theme, “Women’s Economic Empowerment in the Changing World of Work.”
FIRD is committed to helping women and girls achieve their ambitions and values women, girls , boys and men's contributions towards achieving Gender Equality in Northern Uganda to create inclusive flexible cultures, communities to attain Planet 50-50 by 2030. This is because FIRD believes that placing gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls at the heart of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will promote a more gender inclusive world.
